Cyber Awareness for Scottish Schools

In December 2017, Gary was first invited to join a number of world renowned Cyber Security experts (from industry, education, and Police Scotland among others) to help deliver the “Christmas Cyber Security Lectures” – a national programme of events for Scottish schools to help raise awareness of Cyber Security, and how the dangers of Social Media and online footprints can impact personal safety and more.

Gary is now part of the core delivery team, which was recognised at the 2018 Scottish Cyber Security Awards, winning the “Best Cyber Training Programme” and also picking up the “Champion of Champions” award. The Christmas Cyber lectures are best described as “part panto, part lecture” with a huge volume of fun, laughter and learning condensed into 1 theater hall seminar.

In addition to the annual Cyber Security tour, we regularly deliver other workshops in Scottish Schools on a variety of digital topics including Social Media Dangers, Internet Safety, Careers in Digital and Digital Creativity.
