This means a serious reduction in spam (expect a cut in unsolicited email of between 90-98%), and the option to minimise the risk of extra bandwidth or diskspace charges, as the spam emails can be rejected, before they reach your inbox.

Spam Defender includes the following processes to identify spam email:

Each positive test assigns a score to the incoming email. These scores are accumulated, and the final total is used to determine if the message is spam. Together with the complexity of the tests performed, this weighted scoring system ensures that the chances of SPAM Defender incorrectly marking a message as spam are virtually eliminated.
Complete Control
You choose how the system handles any mail which is identified as spam. You can REJECT it, and return it to the sender, MARK it as spam by adding headers or text to the subject (allowing you to easily filter it using rules on your hosting account on email application), or QUARANTINE it; sending it to a specific mailbox where you can check them later. In addition, you can add specific emails or domains to your own “black” and “white” lists, and also choose the “sensitivity” levels on the system as a whole.
No changes to the way you view or work with your emails are required – with all the necessary edits to your domain’s DNS and SPAM Defender setup handled by us.
