Domain Name Scams on the rise [return]
We warned you all a few years ago on the unscrupulous practices employed by various Domain Name Scam artists, trying to fool you into renewing your domain via them, and therefore giving them permission to transfer the domain away. Well.. The same companies are back, busier than ever.
You may have recently received a letter from the "Domain Registry of America" or similar, with the subject "Domain Expiration Notice".
The content of the letter is giving misleading information that your domain registration is due to expire and must be renewed "to avoid suspension and deletion of your domain".
Please do not respond to the letter as they are fake. In most cases NSDesign Ltd is your domain name registrar and we will contact you via email when renewal of your domain is due.
