Scotland tries to claim Lawrence Tynes although quite clearly he gave up all links to Scotland as a child (Jackie Birds attempts to reclaim him not withstanding) whilst New York tries to claim the Giants, even though they quite clearly operate out of The Garden State.

Yes, they originated in New York, but as the Duke of Wellington pointed out, a dog born in a stable is not a horse.

So congratulations to the Giants of New Jersey.
